What can I say about Emeli Sandé? Her beautiful, unique voice helps me forget all the everyday problems and makes me feel relax everytime I’m listening her. Her musicality immediately fascinated me when I first heard her cover of ’Every Teardrop is a Waterfall’. Emeli’s emotionful, perfectly written lyrics are able to evoke a wide range of emotions of yours. She said that about her own music in an interview: “I would describe it as soulful, I think. And lyrical. It’s all about the lyrics for me.” And it’s totally coming through her lyrics. You can feel Emeli’s heart in all her songs.

Padmé Amidala is my favorite fictional female character. She dedicated her life to help her people and the Republic she believed in. As a politician she was opposed to corruption and attached to the ideals of democracy. Her commitment for her responsibilties was so strong that she didn’t give any space to her desires till she fell in love with Anakin Skywalker. It was a forbidden love, but after everything they went through together they could’t stand against their feelings and Padmé married Anakin in a secret ceremony. After Anakin turned to the dark side to save Padmé’s life, she could not follow him down his chosen path. Padmé’s heart was broken and she lost the will to live. At Padmé’s funeral her cascet was filled with lotus. ’Padmé’ means ’lotus flower’ in sanskrit. Beside her straight personaltiy, she was also brave and willing to risk her life for others as she proved in many situations. Natalie Portman was the perfect choice to portray that bright and graceful character.
